How can one keep up otherwise?

My first real apartment, with a mattress for a couch, several candles in ceramic owls hanging off the ceiling....

Totally get the owls... Athena fits you well.

To be honest, I remember two periods from my youth. The first time around during the original release from friends of my parents which seared the song into my head. The second time was just slightly over 10 years later whilst during my early adult period having various rounds with a very good and older friend of mine who had similar tastes of music. It was this second time that I really came to appreciate little Stevie Winwood and Traffic. This song instantly transports me back. It's one of my favorites and I thank you for sharing it tonight.

How are you with Steve Marriott?

A two-story town house that had been cut up into four apartments plus an attic, where an old woman with a one-legged lover lived. All the rest were freaks (nobody called themselves a hippie...)....

In mine, the toilet was in a closet, the bedroom was under the stairs to the attic, someone had painted the floor white and the walls and ceiling deep blue, in the room that served for kitchen a shower stall was in one corner, with a sink and a stove on that wall.

Cost fifty dollars a month, and the guy rented it to me even though I was seventeen. I worked at a place paid twelve dollars a day in cash, bought a steak and a can of peas and a coke while walking home, for about two dollars or so.

Steve Marriott does not ring a bell, Sir, I fear. Is he the artist of that 'rake's progress' style print?

Not bad, but not a favorite. That is a good performance, though.

Nice pick for the night, sir. Traffic is always a good choice.
