I wish all music criticism was this informed.

This is the Rock top 10 but he's done videos on the Pop Top 10 a couple times too.

He has also done in depth break downs on the production and musicality of specific songs to show why they are special - those are the "What Makes This Song Great" vids

9. The single thing he said that made me hit subscribe to his channel -

when he was breaking down "Roundabout" from Yes - you know that tone that begins the song - leads into the acoustic guitar riff right at the beginning?

Its a piano chord played in reverse with the start and end edited out. Rick describes the technique and explained how it worked. My mind was blown.

13. One of his more unusual videos covered "scary music".

He's covered the music of Rush multiple times, which of course made me a quick fan. But I love this sort of odd topic too. (Probably should have been a Halloween video!)
