The Bends is AWESOME. 'Bones' played live is one of my favorite songs of their's. I also saw 'em a couple times on Amnesiac tour. I used to strum and sing 'Fake Plastic Trees' with my drummer and bass playing buddy all the time back in summer of '95 when I roomed with the drummer. Oh and in a cover band I had in 94 we used to play Creep at our shows.

Given our taste similarities you and I have established, you really owe it to yourself to put on headphones and earnestly listen to OK Computer a couple more times, preferably with a buzz on (of some kind) if you still partake. It's f***ing amazing once you sorta 'get used to it' a little and the songs take on some familiarity. Extremely rich and rewarding. 'Paranoid Android' alone would make the album at least 'good' but it's far from the only great track. Then once you have some appreciation for that, dive into Kid A.

There's a reason both albums have consistently made the top 10 in dozens of 'Best Albums of (whenever)' lists. 'The Soft Bulletin' by Flaming Lips is a similar experience I highly recommend.

Again ... headphones ... KEY!
