I say this with a full understanding that everyone who cares already disagrees with me

But of all the classic covers of all the songs that Townes Van Zant wrote this is the best one by far. By far.

"Hold your tongues until after I've spoken"

I can't think of a cover that fleshed out the bones of TVZ melody as naturally as this song.

I love the way they turned it into a classic bare bones rock song...

Which is a great band name. I opened the video in YouTube to get that, and have already downloaded the song, so thanks. It’s on an interesting compilation of Townes covers called Days Full Of Rain.
