He certainly doesn't look like a guy with any clue that this would be his very last hit record, given his 80's string of success.
I like John though, soundtrack to my youth. Saw him around 1996 and it was one of the most fun shows I've ever been too ... everyone singling along and partying.

Two years ago I saw a show at the Butler Art Museum of his paintings - hes quite an accomplished artist as well.

Ive loved these two songs back from his early Cougar days as well! Yeppers ....
I like those raspy voiced guys for some reason ... Mellencamp, Steve Earle, Johnny Rzeznik, John Lennon when he gets into it .... Joe Cocker ....
