Aretha Franklin - Since You've Been Gone (Baby, Sweet Baby)
Years ago a friend was working in a camera/photo shop in Detroit. It was Christmas season and the store was packed full of customers. Finally he was able to help a waiting customer, an average- looking middle aged lady who had a long list of gifts for nephews and relatives.
In the crush, he assisted her and she selected several new cameras with film. After the sale, a colleague asked the him if he realized the woman was Aretha Franklin. Floored, totally surprised and undone at not recognizing the famous singer, I don't think he fully got over the experience.. Lol.
