The worst thing I'd say about them is that Pat has a habit of throwing in some really dumb lyrics that undermines the song.

The line about friggin Tae Bo in the middle of Drops of Jupiter is a travesty, for example. And he does that kinda thing a lot.

Other than that, they have tons of excellent songs, esp. on the first 3 records.

They have gotten too poppy though, too 'wannabe Maroon 5' in the past decade or so.
