I've been lucky enough to see him several times & he never disappoints! Love his collaborations with Clapton too, good music but Clapton is an ass so I'm glad I've had the CD for years and don't have to contribute anything to the more right wing version of him lately.

I regret never seeing BB. Today, the day of the full moon I would have posted a song by Van Morrison who has become just as much of an ass as Clapton, so I didn't

I made the mistake of letting my husband talk me into going to his concert. Started out fine, he did a few of his hits, then he switched to accoustic and started doing new music, which I didn't care for one bit. The crowd didn't like it either and were yelling for his hits. He stopped playing, asked for the house lights to be turned on, then ranted and raved at the crowd and walked out. End of show. I would absolutely expect him to be an anti-vaxxer idiot these days.

And about 50 years ago I saw him at the Santa Monica Civic, one of the tightest bands I've ever heard started playing, he walks out in a suit and sunglasses and hits the mic right on time, really great but still one of the best bands and concerts I've ever seen and I've seen Hendrix and Cream, but that was a long time ago and he never spoke

Funny, now that you mention it, there was a really tight beginning to the show, loved it, but he started speaking and that ended anything good.
