The Ramones - Blitzkrieg Bop (live in Houston, 7/15/77) + Green Day, 2002; Toten Hosen & Arzte 2022

Green Day for the 2002 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony:

And the two biggest punk-rock bands in Germany, rivals for 40 years, at a concert two days ago for Die Toten Hosen's 40th anniversary tour, with DTH sharing the stage with Die Arzte ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Die_%C3%84rzte).

You'll have to click the Watch on YouTube link there to watch it, but you can watch that song with the two that preceded it in the video below, with "Blitzkrieg Bop" starting at 9:44. Having both bands on the same stage made German rock history, as the German edition of Rolling Stone explained, in an article I posted at https://democraticunderground.com/10181664814#post65 . And btw, if you're a Ramones fan, an earlier reply in that thread, reply 7, has Campino, the lead singer of Die Toten Hosen, interviewing Joey Ramone in 1989, a 10-minute interview that's fun to watch.

Rock and roll will never die. And apparently neither will the best punk rock.
