It was written for his daughter with Angie Dickinson. Sadly, she committed suicide when she was about 40.

The theme and this recording were used by ABC-TV for their program Movie Of The Week.

It was the first melody I tried to write lyrics for and my title was "Tomorrow Is Yesterday." My junior high school music teacher informed me that I was violating the song's copyright. That was my first step in learning how the business of music works.
