Though New Adventures in HiFi was pretty exceptional as well ... and I enjoyed certain tracks from Green and OOT and Monster for sure, and actually Accelerate & Collapse into Now definitely both had collections of very worthy highlights ... but REM's "IRS Records" years were fucking brilliant, top to bottom, superlative musical accomplishment, end of story ... so glad I got to live through them
