and forth from hollywood to the valley for something to do. charlie manson put a stop to that tho

...but since 1976 (when I arrived in the L.A. area) I have driven through there many times, on the way to or from the Hollywood Sunset Strip area and the San Gabriel Valley area.

Especially when we used to get out more, before the Trump Pandemic.

I think, back sometime in the early 90s, I looked into a couple of LC available rental units.

The "mystique," and the sheer beauty and charm of LC was great, but the units I checked out were small, impractical, and overpriced, as I recall.

Now I'm in a small, impractical and overpriced rental, just not in Laurel Canyon.
