Taken in the context of the times this was a statement against the Establishment in the 60's. Using words from John Wyndham's "The Crysalids" -


"Soon you'll attain the stability you strive for
In the only way that it's granted
In a place among the fossils of our time"

"In loyalty to your mind
You cannot tolerate our minds
In loyalty to our kind
We cannot tolerate your obstruction"

I can't tell you how many times I think of this in the context of our current political division. I can't say I think the left is always right.....but the right are Neanderthals! And.....to continue the connection.....true Volunteers of America believe in love, equal rights for all, and a legal system that truly recognizes that no man can be above the law.
