Yeah, Tony has so many different guitar sounds... Planet Caravan is one of my faves few have heard.

It has a much less dark character. Reminds me a the guitar sounds of the glitter rock bands (except for The Sweet).
This song is from the late 70s, so they may have been experimenting some.
If you're a Sabbath fan, make sure you track down "The End Of The End". It's a rock doc about them with inserts of their last ever show in Birmingham England. It's terrific!

The sound driving the song has long been the Tony Iommi sound. SG through a Laney.
Fun fact about that: when they first toured the States, Laney only made amps for the UK market.
Once they got here, they had to find an amp expert to convert their amps to 110V, because they couldn't plug them in as they were! They only worked on 220.
