2. There is a small truck stop in Western Iowa that comes to mind when hear this song

Growing up in Iowa and making many trips from the northern part of the state to the southern part or into Missouri we would often stop at the same truck stop.

When turn the page comes on, it puts my right back there.

3. Fun fact, there's no digital studio version of this song, only the live one

we've all heard 1,000 times, roughly.

The album it was originally on, from 1973, is out of print, and was never even made into CD format. You'd have a hard time finding a copy, IOW.

This live version however turned into one of Seger's best-regarded songs.
