but it was one of those that had a message that messed me up as a youth. There were a lot of songs about freedom and not getting tied down (the Monkees I Wanna Be Free comes to mind) at a time when I was trying to figure out what relationships and commitments were all about. I didn't have good role models for relationships growing up so this kind of message was like candy to me.

I'm still not sure about commitment. LOL
