(16,858 posts)Love some Evil Elvis man...Danzig has a well earned reputation for being a dick, but my wife and I ran into him in the French Quarter several years ago. We were staying at a B&B in the more residential area and he came out of a building as we were walking down the sidewalk. I immediately recognized him and as we're walking passed him I casually say "look man, I'm not going to make a scene or anything, just wanted to say I love your music". We shook hands and had a great convo for a few blocks. I know he's been a royal shit to fans in other instances but he was cool as hell that day.

(11,800 posts)And that's what it takes. Treating them like they're human beings. Look. I was in a tribute band. But when people wanted to tell me what an awesome frontman I was or what a great band i was in, I ran for the hills. If it was a casual, hey man, great show. Thanks for the entertainment. Can I buy you a beer? I was all in. Maybe I'm a dick too.......

It's so friggin' 'New Order' it's not even funny, though ...
