low watt all tube amps let me hear your thoughts

Hey all was jamming on the 5 watt sonic pipe again this morning. And what i guess I'm trying to say is the choices we have today in gear is fantastic. I'm 51 I remember as kid , playing thru a supro that I'd drag around to practice and gigs and I still have it or a I think it was a silver tone 5 or 8 watt that I'd use at the house drive my parents crazy turn it down. I think we got it at sears or monkey wards , but today the choices that we have bugera black star vht name few and the choices you can be 5 watt or 1 or .5 watt built in attenuators and still keep the sweetness and tone of warm tubes they take pedals well and keeping it down to not make the wife mad. To add on tone I have been told by doctor that I'm on the way to needing hearing aid in my left ear so maybe I'm way off in my opinion. But these amps are well in budget compared to say Marshall I think I saw 20 watt head silver jubilee like 1200$ maybe wrong. But that is ridiculous your paying for name and my days of dreaming that I'll play wembley are long gone. So for home use these work for a budget player ,Take care all be safe.
