Panarama play

With my phone.
The normal setting is wide angle. When I go with normal it just makes the section of the view on the screen smaller.
I guess the wide angle is going to be the setting and then crop out extra when I see the picture later.
On the phone my wide angle shot will move around as if you are looking around the scene.
that is kind of disconcerting.
Any hints or ideas will be accepted, graciously of course.

Here are pictures of Crete.

I took a panorama of a florida lake with my camera in both the horizontal and vertical positions. horizontal worked well, but in the vertical, for some reason by the time I made it to the 180 position, the trees were so out of position photoshop could not combine them, too much lens aberration even for software to compensate for, probably your problem.

this is the photo which looks like a view "down" a lake from a cove, when in actuality the trees on the left and right are at 90 degrees from the camera! this is about 3 or 4 horizontal shots stitched.

On my phone and just panned. Quite easy.
I haven't tried a vertical pan to even see if it will do it.

The issue I noticed was the size of the view shrinks when you shoot in normal and then the 'finished' print is narrower than the wide angle version. The smaller view of the scene makes it harder to see where you are in the picture taking process.

It is quite amazing that I just hit the button and pan and these are the results I get.
