Did I show you this last fall? We have such an abundance of cardinals

and I just love them.
I was sitting in my chair on my deck reading, and he was about 6 feet from me.

Look at that face. Honestly the expression reminds me of my daughter's dog, LOL. Cardinals are so shy..........I hope you cherish this photo!

He looks like he's scowling at you.

The temps have been so mild here this winter, I saw a cardinal on my walk yesterday.

Love the shot. I wish we had cardinals here. I miss those showy little fellows. Best we can do are crested jays.

I've had it as my screen saver for the last month. With the grey around it it's perfect to host the folders and stuff, and every time he looks at me I feel like he greets me. So I shared him with you.
