2. Thanks. My real thill today was seeing a Cooper's Hawk up close.

I only had a 50mm lens, so I couldn't get a good shot. It was enough to see one that close.

Earlier a Pileated Woodpecker flew over. It was a good day.

I was driving. No hands free. ...and they were so close. Not even 3 feet away.

Sniff. Sniff.

I agree. It was enough to see them that close.

4. I was less than ten yards from a Pileated one morning. I was at work, had no camera on me.
