Sure wish I could have some of that lions mane, though. I just learned how to cook it properly as the local supplier stopped coming to our market for the winter.
I did score some black bean tamales from our market yesterday. Lunch today!

(5,563 posts)You press it to remove liquid and slice it into filets and saute them in a little oil or butter seasoned as you like. Since their health benefits are significant, I have tended to then just eat a small amount of the pleasantly chewy and slightly crispy filet at a time rather than centering it as a meal ingredient, but if I had your market I would serve as a main.
