For fans of Aiman, please send your healing vibes Down Under.

The kids are down in Australia visiting Riaz's parents for a couple of months. Right after they got there, Aiman got bit by something and became infected with some kind of MRSA-like germ. He has been in the hospital getting IV antibiotics for three days and four nights in an effort to kill it. They were hoping to take him home today, as he's doing much better, but I haven't heard for sure. Anyway, keep the little guy in your thoughts. I hope they've knocked this out. He had a similar bout down in Costa Rica when they were down there, but not this bad.

He's a trouper. I'm sure he's been melting the nurses' hearts.

Please keep us up to date. This cuts through marrow and bone, as we Germans say.
I am upset and worried.

Sending good thoughts his way. I can't imagine anything more terrifying than having your child hospitalized with something so nasty. Glad we live in the 21st century and have access to medication that can knock these bugs out.

Vibes streaming down under right now, and for absolutely as long as he needs them!

I'm glad to hear he's better, and I'll be thrilled when he's absolutely well.

Poor little guy.

He's a trouper for sure!

Sleeping so peacefully - and meantime, there is fierce warfare going on underneath his skin. Hope he gets better!

I had several myself this past summer and they are nasty...I had one spider get into my sheets and bit me 4 times on the arm, leg and ankle before it got crushed, but the bites landed me in the ER and on antibiotics and steroids for a week.

Good luck to your little guy there and i hope all is going well.

parents and grand-mom. Plus all that family that had been waiting for them to arrive. Will send prayers, vibes and anything else I can think of for healing.
A friend of my brother's is in the Hospital in Richmond, VA with a bite that looks a tad worse. He's been there for a week already and was suppose to get it lanced again today. The up side of Aiman's age is he doesn't know to be scared like us grown up. Watch the little guy grow up to be entomologist.

These kinds of bites are nothing to be taken lightly. You're probably right that it's good Aiman is too young to be really scared. Riaz says he's been remarkably calm about the whole thing.

I want Aiman healthy. Feller (nickname) should be alright. He is getting tired and grumpy with the hospital. I always take that as a good sign in an adult male.
Just sent my mom that is also an Aiman fan and email so she can add her vibes and worry.

I feel certain he'll be just fine, and soon it will be a bump in family history.
Just need to see how fast he'll get there.
