(9,001 posts)Here is the original. I didn't like the framing. It snuck up on me. Look upriver, down river repeat and this one flys up behind me. I got one shot.

A friend actually has made his living for 30 years doing wildlife photography and he said the only way to make any money is to write too. Taking his advice I wrote an article for my state (CT) wildlife magazine and they are going to publish it but I need to limit my cropping in the future to make it through a lot of magazines photo guidelines.
The State of South Carolina Department of Natural Resources used one of my coyote photos but they were limited in size because of the cropping. I kind of felt I had a hand tied behind my back and the reviews for the lens were good. Also the price doesn't break the bank.
