Mistaken Identity

'Hello, little bird' says the Tufted Titmouse.

'Mama?' says the American Goldfinch (non-breeding male)

'I'm not your mother' says the Tufted Titmouse.

'Feed me, Mama' says the American Goldfinch.

"Mama!" says the American Goldfinch. 'Oh, dear' says the Tufted Titmouse.

'I'll just be going' says the Tufted Titmouse.

The titmouse is usually very quick - in and out with a morsel. I'm glad the little bird slowed him down this time.

I've been trying to get a decent photo of the titmouse.
