I love the patterns. Were you on a walkabout and just happened to notice the patterns?

I like pictures of light and shadows a lot....my husband doesn't get why I take some of the photos I take. LOL

This bicycle is there every week. I'm always looking for patterns and snippets of scenes.

on my front porch - I liked the texture and the shadows. My husband looked at it, looked at me, shook his head and said "why?"

Really, that's just beautiful. One of those photos you can look at forever and see new things each time. Complex in its very simplicity.

I don't feel so weird now for taking that shot.

There's a website I go to that issues challenges every week. The week I took that was a challenge to pick a subject and walk all around it and take shots from all different angles. My subject was my front porch....my favorite place in the world.
