Life is precious to trees as well as other living things. I would think that it should be taken down, but I would have a hard time doing it myself...it wants to live.

My neighbor, the owner, said reluctantly last week he thinks he'll take it down, so we discussed 'replacing' it with 2 crape myrtle, one in this spot, and the other at the eastern end of the vine, date or fig?
