Eccentric millionaires, I guess. What is being cleared for these lots?

When I visited Bodie there was one patch of green visible...a grove of aspen, all about three feet high because of the harshness of the climate...that is as high as they grow there.

The water in the first picture is a portion of Pineview Reservoir.

Going down the canyon is quite hair-raising. You must be in first gear the entire way until you get to Eden, which is about 7 or 8 miles away.
