I think this is my first post in the photography group. I'm just a hobbyist, but I really do enjoy seeing the work of the talented people here. I took these on Sunday at the family cemetery near our farm. Some nice autumn colors, and an October mood. I used a Canon T4i with a Sigma 50mm/F1.4

The original Isaac on the left (1743-1824), and his son (1768-1851)

A nephew of the original Isaac, and the subject of a short story published around 1840.

4 is my favorite photo. I love the light and shadows. I like how the headstone is in a bed of leaves that have fallen.

(267 posts)I wish I had more time and money to reset some of those stones. Some of them are beyond repair. I think it's safer now to just leave them where they are.

The last one is truly stunning........the perspective is nice!

I really like the the 3rd and 5th ones down from the top. Would have been a great entries for our recent theme on "lines".
I'm just a hobbyist, too, but I've learned a lot from participating in this forum!
