Simple and elegant. We have our first real snow coming down as well, and I am not happy about it....but it is lovely heavy snow that is piling up on all the tree and bush branches. That always makes it enchanting. I will have to get out there and see if I can get any good pictures. You have inspired me.

So hard to capture falling snow.

Just as a side note, I went into my veggie garden yesterday to do winter cleanup and discovered not only are my tomatoes still alive, there are blossoms on them. I may get more winter tomatoes than I've had all summer.

7. Indeed we do have your weather...

We are on the leading edge of the heavy snowfall expected southwest of us.

We're expecting 4"-6" by Tuesday evening. However 50 miles west of here, snowfall forecast totals are in the 14"-18" and 18"-24" range based on location.

I enjoy the snow, however let's ease into winter...
