If you hadn't titled it Dandelion, I probably wouldn't have gotten it.

Great macro!

I used the Olympus 40~150mm 4~5.6 zoom. I never really thought of using a telezoom for macro. I used AF extension tubes, an essential tool for handheld macro.

But it reminds me that soon I will have a yard full of them. When this opens, the bright yellow will give that leaf litter some nice color. I love the color of dandelions.

Nothing is emerging here yet except some columbines. Our winter has been so mild that they've been up a month or so, very unusual. I had to put a lot more mulch on them when it got really cold a couple weeks ago.

I can't wait for things to start greening up.

for more creative points of view. I used mine several times today.

The higher latitudes are receiving the brunt of the warming.

Right now we are in the mud and tornado season. I have to time my shoots between the wall clouds.

I was three. I thought it was beautiful, My mother put it in a little vase on the mantel. I remember it drooped pretty fast.

I had no idea that people thought of them as weeds. I still like them and bees LOVE them.
