my sensor, so tomorrow I will see if it works. I just took a photo with the lens cap on. Yuck. There are a couple dozen red pin points, but one big one on the bottom right. I can edit it out.

entomology was a big thing with me as a young kid around the same age as you stated. Spiders were king and at a young eye age we could see things that we can't today. I remember being fascinated with webs with egg sacks exploding with young, being under our porch with a flash light watching as the young would escape the web..
Thanks for showing me that I was not the only one.
