A quickie aurora shot

This is just a quick jpeg, barely processed, not even my most impressive shot, but it'll give you something pretty to look at. It's probably going to be a couple weeks before I can get serious about these shots. This is Mt. Dillon, and the aurora here went all the way across the sky overhead. The light is from the full moon.

Still an excellent image. Get a fisheye lens, something like the Rokinon 7.5. alfredo Sep 2015 #12

And if this isn't your most impressive shot, I sure can't wait to see the ones that are.

the constellations are much clearer. I think the Pleides were just to the left of the Aurora, right above the mountain. At least that's what I think. I'm not seeing them on my iPad, but they were sharp on my desktop.

But if you wanted to devote the next 96 hours to processing the photos, then posting them, I would support your decision.

Again, no rush.

I'll be patient. Because I can be patient. Sure, my fingers tap and my feet bounce, but that's only because I'm so musical. Got nothing to do with my being impatient. 'Cause, I'm not. Really.

It's a beautiful photo and I look forward to the rest. When you get around to them. No rush, though.

I'm patient.

Did I mention there's no rush?

They should have one in your mount, possibly under another brand name.

my 8-15 at 15 mm. I have some very cool shots that are round. It was the only way to really capture the whole scene. I'll get around to them in a bit when I have more time.

What I would like to do, though, is process this a little more carefully, and also get the rest of them edited because there are some other shots that you might like more. My plan is to create a gallery at my SmugMug site (my sig line) and then you could have one (or more ) printed from there. Or alternatively, once I have them up there and you make a choice, maybe we could make a side deal where I could just email you the file for a small fee and let you do your own printing.

I think I mentioned that we've got an apartment that we're trying to fix up between tenants, so I'm kind of busy right now, but I should be able to get back to these in a week or two.

However you want to proceed.
