Yes, the colors in the second one are why I like it. They both look a bit flat to me, and I'm still trying to figure out how to change that. I used a nikkor 50mm f/1.8 for the shot, and I'm certain that lens is capable of much more.

I don't think I'll ever move up to a full frame dslr, but I will probably one day move up to a really good crop sensor, like the Nikon D7200. Gonna wait till after I really learn something with this 5100 though.

I especially love the first photo!

It's been years since I've been to Sattui, used to love their wines. Hubby and I are spending Saturday in Sonoma - the Carneros region. Really looking forward to "getting away" for the day - at least that's how it feels for us whenever spending time in the wine country
