My grandson in the water
On my walk today the owl was waiting for me again. I can't help but let her say hello to you as well

Nice Bougainvillea at a wrought iron fence

At the sunset park I met this Dad and son

Then the sun went down

(156,172 posts)Your grandson is a very handsome young man...
And the owl is gorgeous, so detailed. I love the wrought iron with the bougainvillea...And the man with his cute little boy! A picture in a picture!
But your sunset blows me away. The sun shining through the clouds like that.....it's magic.
Thank you!

(10,337 posts)We have owls all over the place in Tucson but I have never seen one. Coyotes, wildcats, tarantulas and Scorpions but no owls yet.

(22,654 posts)thanks for your comment. Your critters are dangerous, be careful. My Owl is there every time I take a walk. Same basic area, just sitting there waiting for me.

(10,337 posts)They are not anymore dangerous than critters anywhere, you just have to be aware that they are around and respect that this is where they live.
We have had five scorpions, three Coyotes and numerous tarantulas visit us since we moved to Tucson and we love all of them.
What can I say? I love all of God's creatures.

wish I could have gotten down there... just got into Vermont yesterday -cold compared to FL- and won't be back to Miami until the 29th (son's graduation from UVM tomorrow and the Burlington Marathon next sunday)...
(Mira- I will be back up to NC to work in August so we will meet up then!)

(8,039 posts)is willing to help with the under water photography. So on his hair, was it red and fading or hot pink and fading? Had to choose a favorite out of the others between the owl being adorable, being able to catch a touch of the sunset both on dad's camera and reflecting off the son's hair. The sunset is beautiful. Has it gotten warm enough for mom to swim in the salt water? I am up here worrying it might not get warm enough before ya'll have to leave.
