Trying to stay dry

1. Yeah, you guys need some relief. The critters seem to enjoy the sun.

2. I need to go find the socket cover. It floated away. :(

5. Hardware stores should be swamped right now.

6. They are, even here. Not a lot of bad flooding here but ground has given way

and people are busy repairing that damage. Also, mold is a huge factor here. I have to spray clean fences, doors and outside walls after bad rains to keep the mold away. I use vinegar right now, but when it gets out of hand, professionals have to be called in to clean it up.

So far, none of the bad mold but that does happen.

9. Clorox is as precious as gold.

10. Sometimes. Sometimes it can harm the wild life.

So I'm careful where I use it.

11. I'm more of a vinegar type of guy. I use it instead of shampoo.

My hair can get wiry though, so I need stuff to soften it.

13. I'm fascinated with how good they are

and with how comfortable the critters are in your presence. Now that you mentioned it, I can see those sockets almost break out in tears.

The lizards look at me like I'm crazy and I guess to them I am. I smile like an idiot at them and talk to them like I do my dogs. (Who's a good lizard?)

The water has receded but I'm going to let the sockets dry out for several days before I use them again. I need to invest in a topper that closes.

We had more sun today, so YAY! (again)
