Related: About this forumRegarding the November theme
First; I noticed that the November contest had been skipped or cancelled a few times. I'm not sure why. Election(s)? Holidays?
Anyway. If we can still do it I've been trying to come up with a theme that would be very inclusive. Like:
1. Almost Anything (no theme)
2. Books
3. Signs
4. Metal
5. Glass
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. I'd like to have something in the works 'cause I will be off the grid from about 11/4 through 11/12. If I start a submission thread in the next few days it would give everyone until about 11/12. Unless it is best to skip this November. I don't know.

(149,614 posts)I think whatever theme you like would be great, and giving us till the 12th would be plenty of time.
I don't think skipping would be a good idea--but that's just me!

(22,380 posts)when we changed over from the last version of DU - and had no polling ability for about a year. That could have included two Novembers. I thankfully forget.
I like your suggestions just fine, they are all comprehensive without a doubt, and would bring many interpretations.
Congratulations on winning with your very beautiful photograph.

So, yes, please do a contest. Even if some of us regular photogs find it challenging to enter every month, I think that a lot
of DU enjoys the contests.
