The deer were here in the early morning light

I saw them as Snowy and I were getting ready to go out for our walk so I grabbed my little camera that I can hold with one
hand and still hold Snowy's leash with other: best shot of the buck who was willing to eyeball me from about 10-15 feet. Snowy will stand still
and watch them, too.

LOL, Mira. All the trees and undergrowth does, indeed, feed them. mnhtnbb Dec 2016 #3

I haven't been carrying a camera in the morning--even though half the time we'll run into this family of deer--but thanks to Snowy's
behavior inside I knew to look for them outside before we left the house.

I'm astonished that they let us get so close. Snowy will stand still watching them when they stand still, too. But if they start to move
away, she wants to chase them.
