It's Spring, things are blooming so I took my camera into the back yard.

We have a variety of Passion flower.

The Passaflora blue isn't blooming yet but the buds are promising a nice show later this summer.

Speaking of promises, the Kumquat forecasts a good harvest in the Fall.

We also have an abundance of Bougainvillea. It has to come in over the winter but it's worth the effort of lugging the clay pots of dormant stumps back and forth every year.

Turk's cap and Widow's tears have made their appearance.

Although the Strawberries bloom I don't have much confidence that the birds and squirrels will share with us.

I don't know what some of this stuff is and frankly don't care. I hope you don't either.

I caught this little guy was hanging out on the Sage.

There's more. A lot more. But I've used up enough of your bandwidth for today. Hope you enjoyed this as much as I have.

I finally succeeded in rooting and planting cuttings from a wild passionflower that grows in my area. (I'd succeeded in rooting it, but people kicked over the pots over the winter so the dormant roots didn't survive.) It will be a while until they bloom, but I'm looking forward to that.

I shared them with my wife, a flower grower herself.
She loved the pictures and said to say thanks!
