Just for the heck of it

Pip, a Feist (type, not breed), looking out for squirrels. He protects us from them. Or so he thinks.

I got up close and personal. He needs a haircut.

Pip is my middle furbaby with Dachshunds as bookends.

Tui (oldest)

Mac (youngest)

Dachshunds are funny. I haven't lived with them, but the ones I've known were all personality+.

Pip loves to chase and be chased - he's also the lover of the bunch. Loves to snuggle and get belly rubs.

Mac thinks he is the boss of everyone. Very protective of Tui - wrestles with Pip but dotes on Tui. He loves socks, shoes, and tissue. Shreds them all. Mac is also the "big" dog. Weighs more than both.

My dogs have their own dresser filled with t-shirts, coats, hoodies, shoes, sweaters, and a few dresses. Tui's favorite dress is a layered "chiffon" number in varying shades of pink. He loves clothes but when that comes out, he's beyond happy. Struts once it is on him. They have holiday t-shirts and we dress them accordingly - much to Pip's dismay.

They're spoiled and we love them that way.

We have trouble getting ours into a practical winter sweater! She is also into tissues and leaves them shredded everywhere.

in that third one he looks to be asking: Is it OK to poop here?
What a beautiful specimen he is, and now I have to put clothes on Lola?

From that day until now, Tui loves clothes and blankets. He enjoys being tucked in - settled on his back and the covers placed under his front legs. He goes right out.

Lola would be (even more) adorable in a tee shirt.

The photographs are bringing them to us in a way to make us feel we are right there with them.
I know you simply adore them.
