I didn’t know it was 94.8% full today. I went for a brisk walk tonight after dark which I’m not supposed to do because we’ve got lots of bear activity in the neighborhood...anyway, I could not resist going out...the moon was gorgeous and I just had to see it.

The only reason I knew that little factoid is because I have access to a website that gives the local time for sunrise and sunset, and the same for moonrise and moonset! It also gives the percentage of fullness, whether it's waxing or waning, and so on. It's very useful.

I don't blame you for going out! It was really gorgeous!

I've always felt that we're very lucky to have our very own satellite. Ever since childhood, I have loved looking at it.
