He is a very beautiful dog. Very intense expression. Perhaps he sees a squirrel to chase?

Almost a dead ringer for our Beauceron, Tally, who we had to finally have put down two years ago. I've been a dog owner all of my life (63 now) and that was the smartest, gentlest dog I've owned. Had her 20+ years.

Beautiful portrait.
