(31,388 posts)but this was the most colorful one. None of the shots I posted have been edited for color or saturation.
I have learned to look for the rainbows when it stops raining and the sun comes out in the afternoon!

I've been thinking about moving back to Chapel Hill because I miss the hummingbirds, the wildlife, and the quiet, but there's nothing that would give me both this view and wildlife.

(31,388 posts)unless I win the lottery and then I can have a place for wildlife and a place at the beach and a place with city views--and if that orange sack of $hit isn't defeated in the next election (if we even get to have an election)--a place in France and a place in Canada and a place on Bonaire!

(2,111 posts)has taught me, through my observing her,that the greatest peace can come by "just watching the world pass by" I sit on the front porch more now ,doing just that. and you have taken great pictures of what she has taught me. so peaceful

(31,388 posts)or the clouds changing, is helping to get me through these dark days. Just like so many people, I am increasingly disturbed by what is going on in the country. Capturing natural beauty with my camera helps balance the man made horror show going on out there.
Enjoy sitting on that front porch with your daughter!
