(51,589 posts)I don't know if it's too much water or too little sun or both. But it starts with the leaves looking more yellow than green. And then leaves start getting brown.

(9,238 posts)Yellowing can mean several things but could be over watering or poor soil. If under watered the leaves would wilt first.
I grow mine in a pot on our balcony. They are thriving so far but not flowering. We plan to make pesto soon once we get some pine nuts.

(9,238 posts)I suspect those might keep the soil too wet.
Try watering the old fashioned way for a few days and see how it goes. Always let the soil dry out a bit before watering.
