(11,683 posts)2. This June I kept hearing yipping and whining in the night
Turns out my backyard had a family a foxes living under the neighbor's shed. I saw the mom carrying a pup to a new den and then they were gone after several weeks of them. Around here we have so many people with lust for killing stuff and night vision scopes that they are keeping coyote population (and a lot of other wildlife) down. Fox are too small and living right in town and are finding refuge.
