My second thought (after thinking what a gorgeous place) was how do you stay warm? 😬

I had a fire in this wood stove in the lookout every morning of fire season from July 10 until September 7, 2020. And on some evenings. I cooked on the wood stove, too. Temperatures INSIDE the lookout at daybreak were usually between 35 and 40-degrees F. Bear in mind that Pinyon Peak is at almost 10,000 feet!
