Post-processing can be very useful for correcting the photo to match your vision of how it should look.

Try sharpening the image to bring out more detail in the craters. Don't be afraid to sharpen too much, you can always dial it back.

The moon is so cool - every night you can see something new at the edge of light and dark.

And I mean that. I'm using PaintShopPro and I'm still a long way from being very expert.

I did move the sharpening around a bit and it never quite got as good as I wanted. It got close, though.

And you're so right about seeing something new! I am endlessly fascinated.
