(36,463 posts)Almost reminds me of the classic Hitchcock movie. Except those birds don’t appear quite as menacing.

(14,559 posts)Good shot anyway. Reminds me of the beer commercial featuring a dog---right tree, wrong tree makes no difference 'cause as long as yer barkin' whatever's up there ain't commin' down anyhow . . .

(6,050 posts)There are some other bushes and taller trees nearby, but that one is handy to the bird seed area.

(970 posts)I always like to believe that they converse when they’re together....LOL.
Maybe they’re telling one another what they’re eating for dinner and what they have planned for the rest of the day.
My husband tells me that I over-anthropomorphize animals and birds, and I guess I do. But it does provide me a lot of fun to use my imagination in such a way.
I love the photo......thank you!

(6,050 posts)I believe there is communication going on with animals and birds all the time. Like when I scatter bird seed in the morning, I imagine the "early birds" spreading the word. Their songs and chirping are truly music to my ears.
Keep on imagining!

(970 posts)I appreciate that you and I are kindred spirits in that we believe that animals and birds do communicate. Bird songs always bring me such joy. When my windows are open if the weather is lovely, I can hear a bird singing nearby and then another one returning the exact call farther away. I think this world would be a much sadder place without all the beautiful singing of our fine-feathered friends!
