1. I am loving the lathe house.

I can feel the relative coolness of that last pic especially.

2. Thanks. That greenhouse is over 100 years old. The same family has owned it from day one.

One of the things I love about living in the South is there is such a strong sense of tradition, and holdng onto family possessions, including land and houses.

I like people shots, and I like B&W. That's a particularly good one.

You really connected with the subjects.

8. Thanks. I think the woman in the second image is the girl's mother.

They saw me interacting with her and, I guess her dad. That might have been why they asked me to take their picture. I told them they were a cute couple, and that seemed to be the right thing to say.

Luckily, I can reason with myself.

Alas, I am my own worst critic. So naturally I mocked myself.
