In Search of Orange at the Japanese Festival

I am trying to conjure up about eight more entries for the September contest.

I posted text and non-orange photos such as attendees and aikido photos, and some video, on my blog here--

Fall is for Festivals

Well, I kind of knew I would find orange there, as orange is found all throughout the culture of Japan.

Bridges (ok, reddish orange) The event took place at the Japanese Tea Garden in the Botanic Gardens



Roofs



Koi Fish!



The drums in Taiko drumming (oh, and headbands). I added a weird effect from Picasa on this one. For the purists: I of course also have the regular photo of this.

And, I got a little silly after a persimmon fell on my head.

Some of the orange ones I ordinarily would not have posted, but was trying to get across the importance of the color in Japan. For example:
